THE Bill Goyder Trio are back at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond offering a free evening of jazz favourites on Monday at 7.30pm in the second floor bar.

Saxophonist Bill Goyder is joined by Jeremy McMurray on keyboards and Peter Ayton on bass.

The event follows the highly successful JazzFest during the weekend of June 6-8 when top jazz musicians from around the country including composer and saxophonist Tim Garland and composer and pianist Gwilym Simcock graced the Georgian's stage with three stunning concerts organised by promoter Chris Powls.

The Georgian's free jazz series takes place the third Monday of each month in the bar.

The bar is open from 7pm Saturday, July 5, Sage, Gateshead, Hall Two, 7pm, Jambone Summer Concert The venue's outstanding youth jazz big band has worked with and wowed musicians including the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Courtney Pine and John Dankworth. This showcase is the pick of the new repertoire and includes some arrangements worked on with Sir John Dankworth.
