York Bowen: Music for viola (Hyperion CDA67651/2)
Pianist and composer York Bowen, known as the English Rachmaninov, wrote a wide range of music for viola player Lionel Tertis, contained in this complete collection.

Accompanied by pianist Simon Crawford- Philips, violist Lawrence Power conveys the eloquence of these pieces.

Grieg Songs (Hyperion CDA67670)
Edvard Grieg's sheer range as a songwriter, from the shortest settings to the major song cycle Haugtussa, will be a revelation to some. Mezzo-soprano Katarina Karneus and pianist Julius Drake do full justice to these superlative examples of Scandinavian Romaticism.

Saint-Saens: Organ Works (Hyperion CDA67713)
A few bars of the third movement of Saint-Saens Symphony No 3 were made famous in film Babe. His prodigious output of organ music is given a full airing. Andrew-John Smith plays the Organ of La Madeleine in Paris. Sound the Trumpet:
